Friends of MSF at UT Austin (formerly DWB at UT Austin), founded in February 2018 by Will Acheampong and Roya Fozouni, is a student chapter of Doctors Without Borders based in Austin, TX. Our chapter aims to raise awareness for global crises, MSF advocacy campaigns, and humanitarian medicine on our campus and in the Austin community. Our mission is to provide impactful service locally by volunteering with and raising awareness for Médecins Sans Frontières and other humanitarian organizations in Central Texas.

Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. Learn more about MSF here.
